European Tracking Service Association welcomes France’s connection to Find Your Pension
Date: 02/2025
Karlsruhe, 11th of February 2025 – The European Tracking Service (ETS) Association is pleased to announce a significant milestone in the development of a comprehensive European pension tracking system.
France, represented by Union Retraite within the ETS association, is now officially connected to the Find Your Pension platform. The platform has been created to provide mobile and cross-border workers in Europe with a comprehensive and easily accessible service to track their pension rights and find information.
Europeans who have acquired pension rights by working in France and/or Belgium can now access their right to information documents online via the platform www.findyourpension.eu. Via a secure eIDAS connection, a solution developed by the European Commission, it is possible to download these documents in PDF format.
A step forward for European workers
Didier Weckner, President of Union Retraite:
“I am very proud of the work accomplished by the Union Retraite teams. In just nine months, they successfully connected the French retirement information system to the Findyourpension.eu platform, joining our Belgian friends. I am firmly convinced of the value of this forward-looking project for European workers. The goal now is to quickly integrate new countries so they can share their retirement information within ETS.”
Expanding Pension Tracking across Europe
Claudia Wegner-Wahnschaffe, chairperson of the ETS Board of Directors, VBL:
“The ETS Association remains committed to expanding the number of countries connected to our platform. We look forward to welcoming more national tracking systems into this initiative, ensuring European workers have seamless overview of their pension rights. With Belgium and France already onboard, we are working towards integrating additional countries in the coming years, reinforcing our mission to provide a unified and transparent pension tracking service across Europe. The work on connecting the Dutch Pension Tracking System (www.Mijnpensoenoverzicht.nl) is already underway.”
About the European Tracking Service Association (ETS):
The ETS Association was founded in 2022 as one result of a project co-funded by the European Commission and aiming to implement the pilot stage of a European Tracking Service on Pensions. The former consortium running the pilot project had delivered
- a portal -built on the FindyourPension.eu information portal for mobile researchers-,
- the infrastructure to connect the first national tracking facilities from Belgium to the platform,
- a rollout strategy and
- an organisation to run and hold the service
In 2024 the next phase of the ETS has started to rollout the service and connect as many national tracking systems as possible. The new program is sponsored by the European Commission and has a budget of ca. 6 million Euros.
The ETS facilitates mobile workers in managing their pensions by finding individual pension entitlements in Europe and providing useful information. This way ETS aims to help mobile workers navigate through the world of European pensions systems. Additionally, the ETS Association provides an exchange of best practices and mutual learning to national Pension Tracking Services and pension providers through its “European Forum on Pension Communication”. Finally, the ETS supports the establishment of new NTSs and helps improve the information offered to their clients with carriers abroad.
The ETS is an association under German law. It is a public-private partnership of European national pension tracking services, pension providers and -institutions as well as a European pension association. Membership is open to other pension organizations from all pension pillars, public and private, pension administrators and other relevant stakeholders. Participation is possible as a data source, member, or a participant in the ETS’ Forum on Pension Communication. Stakeholders are encouraged to contact us at ETS.office or feel free to get in touch and follow us on LinkedIn. For more information, please visit @vbl.dewww.findyourpension.eu.
